right, hps light are the only light on the market in production that can mimick the colours produced by the sun.
hps light give the bet lumens per watt and light area coverage too. with all this comes a price. the cost to buy and the cost to run.
led lights (no matter what claims are being made) are not up to scratch yet. this is why manufacturers are scrambleing hand over fist to try and research and produce good quality led lights as there is shortly going to bed a government crackdown on energy efficient lighting in the commercial world. the manufacturers havent got it cracked yet and they are worrying as they could lose lots of turnover when half their products get outlawed.

so, to sum it up, if you want a poor growth on your plant use the led lights.
if you want a good growth on your plants use the hps it will pay dividends.
