i am resetting my tank up has anybody got any ideas to help make my tank look spectacular?
i have bought some beautiful silk plants and i have led lights blue and red which are under the water. I have thought of putting one of the blue lights under the castle with an air stone so blue could shine through the castle windows and bubbles blowing through at the same time. I have also got a volcano which shines red out the top with bubbles making it look like its erupting, and also ive got the usual rocks and stones logs and a cave.Has anybody out their got any ideas which would set the tank off really good with the materials i have or does anybody recommend adding anything else. It is a 5 foot tank with 4 full grown parrots, three cat fish,. one large shark and two plecs. what would you recommend for redecorating my tank. Thank you.
It really depends on personal taste. Frankly, I think that the picture in my head from what information you’ve given me is marvelous! I think you should add an air pump and air stones if you have not done so already, the lights will bounce off the bubbles, and your tank will have red and blue bubbles! The bubbles allow for oxygen flow in your tank, and it makes the fish healthier, I suggest you do this.
Red and blue are two of the three primary colours, so why not add the third? I suggest yellow stones, or yellow sand. That would finish it off perfectly.
