Can I put change to LED bulbs in my halogen spot lights?
The fittings are the type with a transformer inside the roof and a two pin fitment Can I just change the bulbs or does having a transformer prevent me from doing so. I have changed some GU10′s and they have been fine but they dont have the transformer like these other ones.
Any ideas?
You should be okay replacing them. I expect you’re talking about the standard 2 pin bulb.
The bulbs are VERY expensive, but draw about 10% of the power of the halogen ones for the same amount of light. Here’s one website:
