How to reduce electric Bill of Housing Society
There are 3 tube lights on each floor of 50 watts each , is it posible to replace 3 watts LED lights the 5 x 3 = 15 watts . we save electricity and life of LED is 7 Years ,is this right idea or shouldyou have any alternative idea, our is totally 13 story bldg
Tube LIght 50 Watts and LRD Lights 3 Watts x 5 Nos = 15 Watt
Life of LED is around 100000 Hrs. Power of LED and Tube light is not different. Say 40 watt tube light gives 40 watts output, certain amount of energy is lost in producing light that is a wast. In tube light it is around 10 to 15 % of tube light that is around 2 watts is consumed by tube light circuit which is in the form of heat. Where as in LED, the light emitted consumes 0.1% power, thus in 3 watt LED power wastage is 0.03 watts. to produce 40 watts from LED the power wastage is 0.4 watts which is power saving.
If you use 3 watt LED in place of 40 watt tube light you may not feel bright light in a room it as good as a candle light.
to save electricity you may switch on 3 watt LED while watching TV. switch on 10 watts LED while just discussing in the room. while reading use 3 watts LED light table lamp and so on.
