Will LED lights cause algae to grow?
I’m thinking about buying a couple of Marineland bubble wands for my freshwater aquarium. It’s a bubble stone with LED lights built in. I was just wondering, if the LED’s were on at night and my regular lights were on during the day would that cause algae blooms?
The regular light might cause algae growth, but the LED lights on the bubble wand are not bright enough to have much (if any) effect on algae.
