What will happen if LED is provided with high current ?
What will happen if LED is provided with high current but the same voltage. If a LED requires 3.7 V and 25 mAh and it is provided by 3.7 V and 700 mAh . Will the LED burn / Melt or its life will be decreased ?
25mA is the maximum current the LED can CONSUME to be at its brightest output.
A current limiting resistor must be used/calculated to insure that at the voltage supplied you will not exceed that 25mA. or yes you will burn out the led.
