99 Ford Taurus 3.0 6cyl cranks but wont start HELLLLPPPP!!!?
Ok. 99 Taurus Wagon 3.0 6cyl cranks, but wont start. I replaced the 6 coil pack plugs and wires. Starter is fine, it cranks, but just wont start. I checked the fuel pressure outlet on the fuel rail, no pressure/fuel when key is turned. BUT..I actually hear the fuel pump engage. I also checked the fuel cutoff switch in the back, and it doesnt need reset. WHERE DO I START??
not to be smart but is there gas in the tank? if you can hear fuel pump cycle it should turn off after a few seconds when it builds up pressure. if you have gas in tank the pump is bad. it runs but dont pump the fuel.
