The guy above is wrong. You need 8v running into the light bulb so you would use the same formula but with 8v instead of 4v that is inadequate voltage for the bulb. So you would need a 160ohms resistor and the power rating would be 400mWatts or .4w. You ALWAYS double the rating for reliability so actually you would need the 1W resistor.
