is there a difference between a fluorescent bulb and fluorescent plant lights?
i have a single twisted fluorescent bulb 120v 23w
is this basically the same as the fluorescent lights used in indoor plant growing?
Different fluorescent bulbs have different wavelengths of light, so some are blue or violet colored while others are yellow or white. A number of gardeners I know recommend using a fixture that holds 2 bulbs and using one of each. That covers all the wavelengths. But if you already have some, whatever you have should work just fine.
