Are indoor grow lights ,LED ,MH , HPS , etc harmufl to your eyes ?
I spend alot of time staring at my plants, I was wondering if different color spectrums of light were harmful to human eyes.
Staring at plants is probably more harmful than the light spectrum. Find better uses of your time. HPS does have a very narrow spectral composition, so it’s more likely to have an effect. But it has been used for efficient street lighting that’s easy for an observatory to filter out to ameliorate the effect of light pollution. I don’t know of any reported or claimed harm from this. It makes you more susceptible to SAD (seasonal affective disorder).
