What if I put a 60 watt bulb in a 150 watt light fixture?
Is it okay? the light fixture doesen’t say 150 watt MAX, it only says ’150 watts’
can I put anything lower in it?
yes its just a light fixture for normal bulbs
No Problem if the socket will fit. Some of the larger wattage lamps have a “mogal” base that is larger then a standard base. The main reason for a wattage suggestion is that you shouldn’t use a higher wattage because the heat generated inside the fixture and the wires can cause problems. You can always put in something smaller.
