Hardy aquarium plant advice?
I’m hoping to set up a new aquarium in the upcoming weeks and I am interested in using some live plants.
I want a fairly tall (10″ maybe?) hardy plant to plant into the substrate a different type plant to attach to driftwood. With it being my first time having or even considering live plants, I would like some ideas on what plants would work well. A fairly fast growing plant would be a bonus but not entirely necessary.
As for light specifications, the aquarium lights are 5W and the tank is opposite a window. I do not know what light level this would be classed as.

Some hardy species of lower light plant would be Anubias, Java ferns, Java moss and Cryptocorynes. The Anubias and Java ferns can be planted either directly into substrate or by attachment to driftwood or rocks, they are usually used as midground plants. Crypts are also mid-background plants depending on the species and planted into the substrate. Java moss is a ground cover type plant that can carpet substrate rocks and driftwood.
