Hydroponic Growlight 1000watts area coverage?

i had a personal chart to answer my question but it got lost
so i need your help
its much appreciated
my question is am i able to use a
1000watt hps for an area thats 64inches wide by 42inches long?
36 plants are gonna be in this area
i am able to put reflector close to plants and change the lightspread as well
so if you understand what im trying to say
please help me out
