I have a 175w mh security light that turns off every time my water pump turns on. Why?
Voltage drop.The wire feeding pump and light isn’t large enough for the distance from power source. It takes seven times the power to start a motor than to run one. The higher amperage drops the voltage just low enough to make the light go off. Need to run 1 size bigger wire.
