Replacement for GeForce 6150 SE?
I’m looking into upgrading my computer because honestly it can’t handle any games at full resolution (or lower resolutions, or low quality settings), much less new games coming out this year (i.e. Starcraft 2).

I think I just need an upgrade to the graphics card (around $150 ~ 200), but I’ll probably need to upgrade my PSU with that (it’s currently 300W).
I just want to know what some good components would be (both graphics and power), and how I would go about adding them in (e.g. I think 6150 SE is integrated, which would mean I don’t actually remove it from the case?). Also, for whatever card you recommend, is my processor good enough to max it out (Phenom X3 8450 tri-core @ 2.1 GHz)?

Also, on any cards, would size be an issue? The case is like 6.5′ by 15′ by 14.5′, I dunno how much space there is inside.
Be careful on space on some cards as some are very long or use two slots (for fan).
I recommend getting a 5750 or something in 5600 series. and a cheap 400-450W PSU.
well if you can afford it you should get 550W at least so you can use the new PSU to upgrade even more components or maybe put it in a new computer.
Your CPU won’t be able to max out the new GPU’s but you won’t lose that much. especially with a 5600 series.
