Is this enough Light For Planted Aquarium?
I have a 46 gallon Bowfront and the standard bulb is a t8 30 watt. Im trying to plant some java moss, xmas moss, Water Wysteria and Marimo balls. My LFS suggested I buy this fixture. He says his friends sells them. Is this enough light to grow these plants?

Normally you should have a minimum of 2 watts per gallon for a Planted aquarium. This light rig with dual lights at 39 watt is gonna give you just under that. Looks like it would work very well as long as both bulbs are around 6500k which is the best spectrum of light for growth of foliage. I think that moss don’t usually need as much light as other types of plants though. Not sure about that part though. Either way, the new rig looks like it’s worth getting.
