Anybody actually miss the old ’70′s and ’80′s love songs?
I grew up listening to Streisand, The Carpenters, Bread, The Eagles, Some Beatles, The Lettermen, and a not-so-known group called The Town Criers from Gatlinburg, TN. Does anybody recall any of these folks’ music?
Man, Rod Stewart and these new JA’s don’t hold a candle to these guys. Oh and don’t forget Englebert Humperdinck!
I love the older love songs. I still listen to a lot of them on cd or on the internet. They actually had meaning behind them back then.
