Rudbeckia still not germinated?
I sowed the seeds on 01/14/2009 in a tray like the one I have posted the link to below.
It’s indoor at 70 degrees and under a grow light (T5 6500K) turned on 16 hours per day.
I still have not noticed any germination. Is that still ok?

Well, the packet says “Packed for 2009 Sell By 11/09 – Origin Holland”
The instructions say “Start indoors in a warm, well-lighted area about 10 weeks before planting outdoors. Sow seeds 1/8″ deep into individual containers filled with seed-starting formula. Keep moist. Seedlings emerge in about 21 days at 70-75 degrees. Before transplanting move to a sheltered area outside for a week.”
Well, I guess that I should repost this question on February 4th, which is after 21 days? I sowed other seeds of other plants for which the packet said they would emerge after 14-21 days and they germinated after just 3-4 days…
Too early to start worrying. By the way, anybody as serious as you should use gardenweb.com. There all all kinds of specialty forums on there with very knowledgeable people. I believe they have a seed starting forum.
