HUBBELL hbu-0400s-1a8-clp.Ballast type-AR.Lamp-S51.what kind of lighting is this?
Damp location light w/ built on ballast (looks like high bay) lights I was hopeing to buy them used and put them in a greenhouse for supplemental grow lights to be ran from february to may.I prefer HPS lights over MH.Cost is somewhat of an issue w/ the amount of lights neccasary.
I have no idea what all that gibberish means. For more information on the type of ballast get the specs for the bulb required.
For grow lights on the cheap keep an eye on e-bay and craigs list under the heading ~industrial lighting. (which may be what you did here) Sometimes people will clean out or remodel an old warehouse and try to unload a huge pile of HPS or MH lights. The last time I saw a sale like this you could get HID lights for better than 10 watts to the dollar.
