Halogen Bulb Vs Flood Light Vs Basking Bulb?
I have a Bearded Dragon and im trying to get the temps up of my tank and currently im using a 75 Watt Flood Light but temperatures arent high enough, then i tried one of those 75 Watts Repti Basking Bulbs and still temps werent high enough, so i was wondering if i used a 75 Watt Halogen would they produce more heat than the other two?
Cant the halogen lamp serve as the basking lamp? Since they also provide UVA i already have a separate source for UVB
yes surely halogen would produce the heat,
but the question is what exactly do you need…a heat lamp or basking lamp
cause all reptiles need basking, n they depend upon the light that we provide them..so i think the reptile basking lamp is essential as it provides uvb and uva rays. in a particular frequency which reptiles need.
you can arrange both lamps if the heat is an issue but i think reptile basking lamp is is important for health
