Can you help me with my betta fish?
Tank: Aqueon Mini Bow1 Desktop Aquarium Kit
Hi, I just bought a betta fish. I just want you all to know, that this is sort of going to be its home for at least a month or so. I know its small…., but I’m on a budget and I can’t do anything about that. I heard that a lot of people thought that this is an okay starter tank, so I bought it. I know this is really uncomfortable for my betta, but its sort of not grown-up yet, so its not that big of a deal for him since he can move around a lot… Hes really not that big like the grown-up ones. Anyways, the water in the tank is below the recommended temp. I want to know if you think that a 10W heater will be fine in this. This is a plastic tank, and I don’t know if it will melt. Or, I can change the light inside the hood to a fluorescent light, but I don’t know where to buy that. If you can help please do so. Don’t go on about a lecture on this tank…. Thanks.
