Tree Frog help????////???>?>/?
I want to get a tree frog. I was told it was all right for it to live in this tank.

If it is all right, I need help on what sort of things this frog will need. What will I feed it? Can it pass without a heater or lamp? If it needs a lamp, could I use a desk lamp? What Watt (haha pun)? What kind of substrate? Extra things such as sorts of plants? Nocturnal? Do they make alot of loud noises at night?
If a frog cannot live in this tank, please don’t yell at me. I know nothing of frogs and I’m doing my research here. Could you also share your experience with these frogs? ALSO, how much will the end cost come up to be with all supplies including one round of food.

Their is only one frog I know of that could live in that size tank, and that would be a African Dwarf Frog. African Dwarf Frogs are aquatic frogs that are really small and only one would be able to fit in that tank, the common rule at hand is one frog per one gallon. They are a social species where they are recommend to live in pairs or more. They need a water temperature around 75-82, so it would be best to put them near a sunny area or provide a heat lamp to keep them warm, and a pH between 6.5-7.5. They will eat blood worms, brine shrimp, water fleas, shrimp, and can frog food. They are a great intro amphibian do to their low maintenance.
Now if you are looking for a true tree frog, you’ll have to get a bigger cage, a vertical cage is better than a horizontal one because of their climbing nature. As for substrate wood bark/moss is the best as for plants you will need to make a fake tree in the tank so the frog will feel safe and secure. Most tree frogs are nocturnal only a few are diurnal and the diurnal ones can be a real pain to care for as they are more exotic. Once again it comes down to the species, some are really vocal while others don’t make much noise.

At bear minimal you could be looking to drop under 100$ just for cage and such and thats without the cost of a frog.
