What should i do for lighting?
I read this article about DIY lighting for metal halides and There is a light called mercury vapor that is in the same group as metal halide. In the article it said that this is the same thing and HOme depot has a mercury vapor 175 watt light for 30 dollars would this work? I would like to put 2 175 watt mercury vapor lights on my 75 gallon if this lighting thing works would that be too much light on my tank because right now i have 165 watss of pc?
Be sure to hook these up on the HIGH BEAM circuit only. They will be too bright running on the low beam circuit.
