Tire Pressure light on my Mazda 6 came on. How do I reset it?
I have a 2008 Mazda 6. I “tire pressure” light turned on. My tire pressure is perfectily normal. I had a flat tire, and it started doing it afterwards.
I want to try to repair it. Can someone explain how exactly the tire pressure system works? (where the sensor is, how it gets the signal, etc.) Thank you!
The tire pressure sensor is on the inside of the rim just behind the valve stem. To get at it you need to remove the tire. My guess is you damaged the sensor when you had the flat. The sensor has to be replaced, the new sensor has a numerical code which has to be programmed in through the OBDII port for the cars ECU to recognize it.
