can lights , insulation & drafts ?
Have (4) 40W can lights I installed in ceiling under a low pitched roof( replaced old track lighting)
Installed after I had insulated the space & added vapor barrier.
The shallow space between roof & ceiling is vented.
Tight space & barely made the recommended clearances to combustible structure
Had to break into vapor barrier & push insulation away from cans per instructions .
Cold draft coming through the fixtures is incredible.
Is there a safe, approved method to check the drafts .

That’s what I get for going to Home Depot.
If you can get the access, Pieces of 5/8″ drywall. Build a box around the fixture. Also, it’s more expensive but, they do make cans that you can put the insulation right up against.
