How do you maximize flavor with hydroponic savoy cabbage?
I really like savoy cabbage. I want to grow some.
Most of the stuff I found on the internet talks about growing it in soil. I want to grow it hydroponically.
I read somewhere on the internet that savoy cabbage doesn’t realize it’s true flavor until the first frost. Has experimented with growing hydro savoy? If so, how was the flavor?
In my experience, anything grown hydroponically tastes way less interesting than the same plant grown in soil. There’s nothing you can really do to mitigate that. It’s just as nourishing, but it tastes boring.
