Help! Have I murdered my ficus?
I put it outdoors sometimes to get some sunshine. One night last fall I forgot to bring it in, and there was a frost. Since then, it has lost a lot of leaves. I pruned the dead branches off, but some of the leaves are now developing light or brown spots on them. Is this because of the freeze? Is there some other problem? I water it properly, and mist it just as I mist my other houseplants. I try to keep it by a window where it will get enough sun. What more should I do?
Ficus will do that anytime they are stressed, they are a whinny plant ,hahaha.
I have taken those trees that people thought were dead and put them in house by a window and they always grew bach the leaves and looked great. It wont be the last it will do this. if you over water or anything ,it will do it. With no leaves it wont need much water.
