I’m a pseudo-photographer.Im using regular 60 ? 100 watt light bulbs in my lamp, but my photos are coming…..?
out orange from the light bulbs. Any tips, other light bulbs, etc so that my photos do not come out like this?
You didn’t say whether you were using film or not. If you are using digital, either your camera needs to be white balanced for the light or your light needs to be day-light balanced. If you use flash, the flash is daylight balanced so your subject is in normal colors but the background where the flash didn’t reach is still orange.
As a last resort, you can adjust the colors in your photo editing software. Almost all of them have a “Remove color cast” or “White Balance” feature. Basically, they have you select a color that is supposed to be white or gray, and it adjusts the whole picture so it will be either just right or real close.
