I’ve lost the cord that supplies power to my guitar amp.?
So i was playing a gig yesterday, and as we were packing up, i guess that i left the cord that goes in the back of my line 6 spider III 120 watt guitar amp. So i have the amp, but i don’t think that i will be getting that cord back. And until then, i can’t plug my guitar into the wall (considering i don’t have a cable to do that). Anyway, i was wondering if anyone knew where i could buy a new on, and possibly find a link to one?
That cord is a standard IEC power cable with a C13 outlet. It’s the same cable that most computers use now. You can get ‘em at any computer store, Radio Shack, Fry’s, etc.
They’re cheap…buy 2 or 3. Put one spare in your workbox that you take to gigs (you know, the box with your spare guitar cables, batteries, strings, flashlight, tape, outlet tester, etc.). Keep the other spare at home.
It stinks with your expensive amp is down because of a $3.00 part. Rules of the road…carry as many spares as you can…you will need them at some point.
