i am i licensed marijuana grower an was wondering if a 14w cfl light is enough for 2 plants?
both plants are doin really good one is already 3.5 in tall an it has its 3rd pair of leaves so idk if i should keep using it its not cool white either it has an orange red kinda glow an im using the lst method right now on it working prety good so far but i jus need to know if i shuld continue using this 14w cfl
the markings on it says 14w 120v 60hz and .200A idk what any of it means or if its good for 2 plants in tryin 2 get more lights but only have 1 right now
14 watts is a woefully low amount for plants, probably ok for seedlings. And you want a cool “daylight” bulb with a color temperature of 6500k… or at least 5000k (these bulbs will appear light blue when on). That color temp is for growing foliage… when it is ready to flower you’ll want to switch to the red glow ones (around 2700k). Most stores label the bulbs color temperature. Get the highest wattage you can… you might need to use a bunch of lights or go to a hydroponic store that specializes in growing plants… or check online. Don’t burn your house down, good luck. check this thread out
