Hey. I have taking Ortho tri cyclen lo for 2 weeks and have already lost 6 pounds.?
Im 5 6” now and weigh 124 pounds. Is it normal to lose weight on Ortho tri cyclen lo? Its decreased my appeiate to NOTHING. At the most i can eat now, is one small meal. And i use ti eat 3 meals a day but then started eating like 5 meals a day beacuse i am still growing taller and was hunrgry. Im 16, im on it to regulate my period and make my period super light. And im a virgin but if i have sex if a few months well atleast ill be protected:) Thanks to all who answers my question.
All birth control can cause weight changes. For some people it is weight gain, and others it is weight loss. Appetite changes are a common way this manifests. You are still at a pretty healthy weight for your age, so I wouldn’t worry too much.
Try to divide you meal into several meals, and never skip breakfast. You will be surprised how much breakfast can have on your appetite without causing weight gain.
If you keep loosing weight, talk to your doctor. He may want to try a different birth control pill to balance your weight out.
