Starting to recording music… Should I start with Garage Band, Pro Tools, or Logic Studio?
I have a new 13inch Macbook Pro so I obviously have Garage Band but I also bought Pro Tools and Logic Studio. I just got an audio interface and want to start recording and editing music but I’m not sure where I should start. Should I start learning GarageBand to understand the basics and then switch to ProTools/Logic or should I just start with one of the two more advanced programs?
Start with garageband for a few weeks. Once you understand the basics of multitrack recording, you’ll be able to apply them to to more complicated programs.
