what fuse do i need for my amp kit?
its a 1500 watt amp kit but my amp is a mono-block 1200 watts peak power. the fuse it came with is a 60amp.
i think this is too high, so it wont do its job correctly..
my amp is 1200 peak power.

do i just multiply the amperes by 12v to get the watts? and do i go all the way to 1200 or alittle less?
everything seems to be at 4 gauge. as far as pwr gauge raing terminals
PEAK POWER MEANS NOTHING!!!
An amp kit can not have a watt rating, as amps have different efficiency. The fuse for the power wire is for your power wire, not your amp. Just leave it like that, it won’t hurt to have it too big since your amp has fuses too.
