What would be the best growing lamp for flowering/fruiting stage between those two ?
I’m currently growing Jolokia under a 1000w MH lamp. They have started to make buds so I want to change my vegetation lamp for a flowering/fruiting lamp. Since I don’t want to buy a whole HPS kit, I decided to go with conversion lamps and only two are avaiable in stores where I am :
- Hortilux 940 conv. M47 (Around 200$)
or
- Solarmax 1000 mht gold M47 (Around 150$)
Only considering the price, I would say that the Hortilux is probably better, but I have nothing to compare them except the price… So I can’t say if spending 50$ more would give me a signifiant difference on the result or not… Please help !!! :O
I would go with the Solarmax, it actually produces 30,000 more lumens than the Hortilux. I cant be 100% on this since I could not find the color temperature for the Hortilux, but the Solarmax is 3000K which should be suitable.
