Where can I find some translucent plastic panels in the central jersey area?
These typically go by the name of ‘light diffuser panels’ and are typically used for ceiling lights. But I want to create a table top with one of these panels, put a lamp underneath to light up the surface of the table. The problem with ceiling diffusers is that they are textured and never plain…well at least the ones I found.
I’m basically just looking for thin, plain translucent plastic panels that allow some light to shine through, and are strong enough to support some weight.
Oh, and a local central jersey place is preferred so I can personally make sure it’s actually what I’m looking for. Any ideas?
Also, the panels should be white.
just get some window glass and spray it with window “frosting” paint, or cover with frosted contact paper. or get clear plexi-glass and take some fine – medium grit sandpaper and lightly sand it
