SunSun Aquarium Hood Light?
I have a SunSun aquarium. I don’t know the model number, only that its 2ft wide by 2ft high and about 35cm deep.
It has a hood with an inbuilt trickle filter and two T5 15W lights.
Unfortunately i’ve discovered that 2 x 15W lights are not sufficient to grow nice plants.
Does anyone know if SunSun make a replacement light unit with higher output, that will fit under the hood? Or if there is any other brand available that will fit under the hood?
The hood system is made of plastic and it looks as though the old light can unclip and a new unit can fit in there.
if you are trying to grow plants just grab you a yellow high pressure sodium bulb from any home and garden center. that is what my weed growing buddy uses. they work well, trust me.
