I need help on the lighting for my aquarium?(please any suggestions)?
I chose an amazon biotope and I have a 2ft. 6in. long 1ft. wide 1ft 6in high aquarium nothing is in it at the moment i heard that I need three fluorescent lights as long ass my tank i just want to make sure and more help
3 lights as long as your tank?
That would be very bright lighting.
No doubt that’s good for your plants (I assume you’re planning to use a lot of live plants, or the lighting would not even be an issue), but it’s not strictly necessary.
Two, or even one, fluorescent light the length of your tank would be enough to grow most plants.
