which is a good plant light ?
i would like to know which is a good plant light…not counting metal hidline, hps (high preasure sodium) or any of those hard to find….i was thinking FLOURECENT T5 bacuase it produce about 91 lummens per watts AND NOT ENOUGHT HEAT… which T12 AND T8 PRODUCES ABOUT 30 LUMMENS PER WATTS AND THATS ONLY ENOUGH FOR 8 TO 10 INCHES

Not one is going to answer your question. Fluorescent is good for power and that is it.You want to go from some sort of incandescent. They have better color and generate heat and better output.
The problem is scale. Are you planning on growing some seedlings and them moving them outside or a sea of green so to speak. Because in that case the large number of plants would benefit from a long bulb.
The t5 look good. You want color spectrum. Power you can get by adding more and heat by sealing the room up and heating it a little.
