I got my hair highlighted at a salon in April, can I use an at-home dye kit?
the highlights are grown out to about 3 inches from my scalp.
i was just wondering if where the highlights are will take more color than the rest of my hair?
it’s not a major change, i have dirty blonde hair and got medium-light blonde highlights.
i was looking to just even out my haircolor. any help appreciated! thank you in advance.
you can safely do it if you stay within two shades of either your highlights or your natural color. Don’t use Revlon Colorstay though, it’s cheap and it fades too quickly. I like Loreal and Herbal Escnts.
Yes, your highlighted hair will soak in more, but it will be fine if you are dirty/medium blond. I do this about 4 times a year. My avatar says I’m black but i’m actually white with strawberry blond/brown hair (i dye it often).
