HID light help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
I recently bought an HID conversion kit, and when the ballast touches metal when the lights are turned off a spark is made and the lights will turn on when the ballast touches metal?? what should i do?
you must have bought a kit that requires you to wire directly to the battery. check out all your wiring from the battery to the ballast and make sure you have a in line fuse to protect your from burning up your car. if the wiring is they was is suppose to be done. please disconnect the ballast and put back your factory light it might damage the rest of your other factory wiring or your battery.. the ballast should not do that, it must have a bad ground with the electronics within the ballast circuitry. call the place that you bought the kit from and tell them what is going on they might help you out. next time i would recommend getting a digital HID system that plugs directly into the factory harness without wiring to the battery, they have ground out protection that would stop that from happening. check out the systems from www.mvisionauto.com
