Is it unsafe to cover fluorescent bulbs with material?
I live in a dorm…and the fluorescent lighting is HORRIBLE…its ugly and way too bright…
I wanted to dim it down a little and make the room look a little more inviting..
I used cloth to cover the light, the material is about 1/2 an inch from the bulbs(possibly touching in some areas…
is there ANY chance this may be unsafe?
This is OK, these bulbs do not get hot. If this is the screw in kind you can get the daylight bulbs from Lowes. They give of a more natural light.
