Sorry Ken the question is what should I check first Alt or starter?
Started car this am….warmed it up (im in Chicago) No issues on start up…. Drove it 20-25 min Turned it off for 30 min. It just hit me that the lighter did not work to begin with so probably not the pennies. Alt belt 1 month old…battery good…probably not that. Could it b alt, or starter? I have no alt light or any other light when I crank the Ignition.

if you have electrical issues with your car than check all the fuses one by one replacing each one as you along so not to mistakenly put them back in the wrong slot.
then you could clean the battery terminals with the leads removed.
then you can go thru all the relays.
dash lights dont usually show when cranking the engine over as the starter uses all the available power.
cold temperatures will effect a battery,s performance.
