this really isnt a fish question but a question about the lighting system i have?
well you see i just purchased a t5 lighting system and it wont work. Like i dont know if it’s because i dropped it from like 1 or 2 ft or if it’s because the fluorescent bulbs. I mean when i make the bulbs stand and put it upside down i hear something going down and its making a rattling noise. I’m not sure if this is normal, but it doesnt sound like it. Plus when i try to turn it on or plug it in, it shows a very dim glow around the ends and turns off. I dont think it’s the lighting system and i hope it’s not the lighting system because i got a great deal on it
It sounds like it may just be the bulb. Take it to your local pet/fish store and buy another bulb put it in and ask to plug it in there so you don’t have to go home and back if it doesn’t work. If the bulb you buy doesn’t work, then return the bulb to the store (get your money back), so it must be the lighting system. Where did you buy the lighting system? Would they allow you to return it? Dropping it from only 1 or 2 feet won’t do anything, I’ve done it plenty of times before. It might be a different story if it were 5 or 6 feet though.
