Can anyone help me find a 48″ bulb with good wattage for growing plants indoors?
I’ve looked all around and the better ones (250 watt) are too small for my current lighting fixture. I’m trying to find some nice 48″ bulbs that are good for growing plants indoors. I would love an HPS light, but anything that’s just for basic growing will do just fine.
I purchased 48″ grow lights from Home depot to keep my out door plants alive in the garage over the winter. I believe they were only about 40 watt bulbs and glowed kind of pinkish but the plants did really well. The light was on a 10 hour timer and by the end of winter they had flowers and were beginning to bulb already!
