Are T5 fluorescent bulbs the same as T5 Biax (PL/L, 2G11, 4 pin)?
I have the bulbs I would like to use and they are called T5 with a base of 2G11. I’ve also read this referred to commonly as “T5 Biax” but also as a “4-pin”, PL/L and even as a CFL (which it isn’t)
I’m trying to select a ballast for these bulbs but can not seem to find too many specifically for “T5 Biax.” There are a great number of ballasts for plain T5, that all things being equal would work. SO For purposes of selecting a ballast are T5 fluorescent bulbs the same as T5 Biaxial?
I suspect they are T5 bulbs, just bent to be more compact with all four pins on one base.

The manufacturer of the bulbs also sells the fixtures so will not disclose the type of ballast they use.
