lighting for 2 ft saltwater tank………………?
i have 2 ft FOWLR saltwater tank with hang on filter(include phosphate removal cotton@wool), power head, skimmer and 15w fluorescent white and 15w marine blue light…i would like to ask you about the lighting system..are my tank have enough source of light??i would like to convert my tank to reef tank..
If you are looking to conver your tank into a reef, the lighting is the most important aspect. I would go with 250 watt MH or 400 W depending on the types of corals you want to keep, the current setup you have would not support much. HTH>
