Can this size hydrophonic garden support one person?
The idea is take an old 50 ft sailing yatch-gut it and install a 2 rack high(or more) growing system-powered by on deck/tow behind deployable panels/ with an electric outboard and large battery pack setup. Would it be feasible for one small adult to subsist off that sized growery supplimented with fish/perhaps eggs. The main crop would have to be spuds-the idea being having most plants at close to full maturation and removing the larger ‘baby spuds’-letting the plant continue to grow and produce for long periods.
Not with just potatoes, you would need lots of fast growing edibles for daily consumption, as a lot of plants take well over two months to produce anything. Also you can not healthily live off just potatoes.
