What are some attractive plants and flowers that love lots of water?
I live in n.e. Kansas and I’ll be planting them in a low light area with about 1 -2 hours of indirect sunlight morning and evening. There may be more evening sun as summer progresses.
I personally would stay away from mint unless you want it for the rest of your life! My mom planted some about 30 years ago and it spreads and spreads and she still hasn’t been able to get rid of it after all these years.
Impatients grow great in shade and love a lot of water. They come in a large variety of colors and fill out nicely throughout the summer. Check your local greenhouse for some expert advice for your area. Good luck!
