Plants need heat, light, or both?
I need to know if some plants I’m growing on an hydroponic garden in my house need plain light or a light that also heats them.
Plants need grow lights, which put out certain colors of light to stimulate plant growth. The lights will put out heat. But, you might have to have climate control (heater) in the room if it gets too cold. It depends on the type of plants. But, most plants don’t do well below 40 degrees F and 72 degrees is optimal for most plants.
