Light for 10 gallon planted aquarium?
I plan to grow my 10 gallon aquarium (with Betta and Cory Pandas) into a very planted tank. So far I have Java Moss, I would accept any suggestions for easy to know and very attractive plants. Anyway, I need to buy a hood. Under the advice of a previous answerer I went to Petco and purchased an incandescent hood with two incandescent light bulbs; I had originally been told that I could toss away the two light bulbs and insert two compact screw-in florescent bulbs, but they wouldn’t fit so I returned it.
Now I need suggestions for a good hood and/or a very powerful light. I heard that 3 wpg (watts per gallon) is the minimum I need but most generic fluorescent hoods come with one 15 watt bulb and that’s it. I don’t know what to do, please include links to your answers, thanks.

Don’t be fooled that they only produce 13 watts – lower rated bulbs (T-5) will penetrate deeper water depths, so T-2 will penetrate deep

They’re screw-in and work with your hood. They’re 15 watts each, so 2 of them will provide ~3 WPG.
